Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This policy explains how Zynko processes information when you use our website, short links, accounts, publisher features or contact form.
Information we collect
Account records include name, email, password hash, role and status. Link records include destination URL and host, short code, expiry, status and creation time. We process click activity and limited technical request data to operate redirects, provide reporting and protect the service. Contact form submissions store your name, email, subject, message, status and submission time in our support database.
How information is used
We use information to create and redirect short links, authenticate users, provide link reporting, respond to support requests, investigate suspicious activity, secure infrastructure, troubleshoot and comply with law.
Cookies and sessions
An HttpOnly session cookie keeps account holders signed in. It is necessary for authentication. Signing out clears the session; blocking cookies may affect account features.
Sharing
Hosting, database, security and infrastructure providers may process information to provide the service. We may disclose records when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect users, the public or our service. We do not claim to sell personal information.
Third-party destinations
Short links redirect to destinations chosen by users. Those websites are independent and have their own privacy practices. Zynko does not control them.
Retention and security
We retain account, link, activity and support records for as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, disputes and legal compliance. Passwords are hashed and access controls are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information. We may verify identity and retain records where required for security or legal reasons.
Children and updates
Zynko is not intended for children who cannot independently consent under applicable law. We may update this policy as the service evolves.
Contact and launch review
For privacy questions, use our Contact page. Before commercial launch, the operator must add verified legal identity, jurisdiction, postal contact details, actual providers and retention schedule, and review this policy for applicable law.
